BIO
Susan Christofides has been traveling much of her life. Transplanted from latitude 42° south in Tasmania to 47° north in Seattle, her interest in photography accompanied her wherever she happened to be. Mostly, she shoots with Nikon digital SLR's and lenses, but she also likes to retain the use of film with a Hasselblad Xpan for panoramic images. She exhibits her work in the Seattle area.
Susan draws the viewer into her landscapes, close-ups, and portraits, engaging and involving them. She uses natural light to capture the essence of the scene wherever possible, and adds fill flash only when necessary. Having been involved in the business of architecture, and immersed in art and architecture for most of her life, her photographic library includes historic and civic architecture and detailing from around the world.
Her objective is to continue traveling and adding to her gallery for many years to come. Please revisit her website for recent additions which will be as frequent as she can make them.
